I was surfing on the net looking for other blogs with subject "smile" and I found www.takeasmile.org
It is just one page where you can download and print a facsimile of and "announcement". It is useful to bring a smile to everyone.

Tree of desires

I heard about this initiative some time ago...
It cames from the Indian culture (of which I have to honest, I don't know very much): they used to write their desires on a piece of paper and commit it to a tree in a sacred area.

Remember the Christina Aguilera's song? Well Yesterday I read an article about the Tv serie "Girls" (is about 4 normal girls leaving in New York) and about the actress Lena Dunham.
Lena was elected most cool personality in 2012 according to Time.

Do you have a or ever had a pet?
I used to have dogs and once I got married, we decided to have a dog...if I only new the consequences of that decision...

Well, we chose to adopt a dog from our local kennel and we found Viola: she is really preatty, all black with lively eyes...

Kindness

In the past you don't even call your parents mum or dad and you talk to Others by using Mister, Miss or Madam. Nowadays everything is "easier". But is it better?
I was at the doctor few days ago and an old man with a walking stick came in. All chairs were occupied. I was reading and didn't notice the man immediately. After few moments the old man (a little younger than the first one) on my left side stand up and said to the first old man with walking stick "please sit down".
So I rase up my eyes and see all the other people in the room: all of them were younger and helthier and the two men but no one made any sign of kindness, rather they all were relieved that they can still be sited.

Spring inspiration

Today starts Spring season...
Outside is a wonderful sunny day, a little windy but a pleasant spring temperature.
I made also my kitchen a little happier today with a ducky kitchen paper...
